If the piece is undamaged, you may return or exchange it. The return address is provided below. Please send the piece back with your ORDER NUMBER and in a similar way you received it by padding the parcel or if you saved the box it came in, using this with a sleeve. This will help insure it doesn't get damaged in transit.
If you are exchanging for the same design, once I receive your order, I will send you purchase information for your label. You will need to purchase your shipping label for me to send back the new piece, which will cover my expense of shipping the new item back to you. If you want a different piece entirely, then I can issue a refund in which another purchase can be made in the desired design.

Everyone has different sized piercings for their belly so I've made a tutorial that walks you through the process. Please see my dedicated tutorial page under the 'Shop Designs' tab for all this information
When you initially get your belly button pierced, the standard is a 14 gauge. Some will move down a size from a 14 gauge to a thinner 16 gauge for a bit more of a minimal style. There is no real standard for the length (thick of skin) that is pierced. It may depend on who pierces you in addition to how long you've had it pierced. For additional info on finding your own custom size, please visit my tutorial for more information
I highly recommend that you wait a few months for your newly pierced belly button to heal before wearing a 14k gold fill or .999 fine silver piece. If you really can not wait to wear my belly jewelry freshly after you've been pierced, then I highly recommend you purchase a 14k solid gold piece- the metal is not porous and is ideal for sensitive skin especially while healing. I can also make certain designs with titanium, so if you are interested in this metal please contact me for more information.
Yes. This is absolutely normal and the jewelry may tarnish more or less depending on someone's body chemistry. Because the belly area is prone to more moisture than your ears or maybe a facial piercing, the piece may become discolored more due to lotions, certain soaps, or just your sweat. You can purchase a polishing cloth to add to your jewelry collection. I swear by these and the polish is already in the fabric so the more you use the cloth, the better it works. My recommendation is a Sunshine cloth which you can buy online at any major '.com' stores. This will bring the jewelry back to looking new again. If you do not want the hassle of polishing your belly jewelry, than solid gold will be your best choice.
